Membership in the U.S. Committee of the Blue Shield is open to anyone concerned about protecting cultural property during armed conflict. Through membership dues, USCBS receives critical support for programs offering cultural property training for the U.S. military, cultural emergency response teams, and educating the public about the 1954 Hague Convention on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. Membership benefits include newsletter updates on USCBS programs and activities, volunteer opportunities, and invitations to USCBS events. Payments are processed using PayPal. Paypal is a low cost method for USCBS to accept online memberships and donations. You do not need a PayPal account to use a credit card, however, if you do have an existing account you will be prompted to log in. If you do not wish to use your PayPal account follow the appropriate prompts. If you choose to pay by check please complete our membership form. Institutional Members
Institutional members may include museums, libraries, archives, professional organizations or any other organization committed to protecting cultural property during armed conflict. Institutional members are eligible to participate in USCBS emergency training programs and expertise networks. Benefits:
